I went out with MN to dinner on Friday night. I listened to my sister when she said it would only take 20 minutes. I left 40 minutes early but went the wrong way on the road (My GPS tried to take me into HOV lanes) so I ended up being 20 minutes late. The good news is, MN was 10 minutes late. When I met him at the restaurant, he had already got a table and so we went straight to sitting down.
I opened the menu and he told me he always ordered the same thing "the purple stuff" - it's literally a purple sauce on noodles and chicken. So, I went for that.
After dinner, we went to the mall and went Christmas shopping and then he drove me back to my car and we talked for about an hour parked by my car.
So, while we were talking, he mentioned that one of his top 5 movies was playing at a special screening downtown and would I want to go on Saturday. So, we made plans to meet again on Saturday for lunch and then the movie.
So, that's the outline of the date... so my impressions and thoughts...
You know what I like about MN? He freely smiles. He just gets a kick out of things and just smiles and I like it. I just get the impression (and don't get turned off by my saying this because this is a good thing) that we could become really great friends and have a lot of fun together...

Tonight
so, tonight I'm going out with a guy named MN. I think it'll be fun. We've been trading short emails (solely about meeting) for over a month... so I really know nothing about him, other than the fact that he is a great guy and friend of a friend. We've been out already but tonight's the first one-on-one... with possibility of doing something tomorrow. Which I think is funny.. it's only if you get an "a" will you get the reward tomorrow. so if we both walk away tonight going, hmmm, nice girl/guy - but... well, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I'll keep you posted...

Time to Grow Up
So, I recently sent my resume to a professional company to review. They reviewed it for free but for the CHEAP price of $695, they will help me write my resume professionally.
So the critique: that my resume was an entry level resume and that I need to completely re-work it.
I need to know how to sell myself better. Search for executive CVs and you pull up a whole different look than what I've used.
If I'm going to look for a new job (something that is hopefully an improvement of what I currently have) then it's time for me to come up with a "grown-up" resume.
